CYBERPUNK 2077 DEV CD Projekt Hack was apparently really bad

It seems that the CD Projekt Red, once the developers of the “large” indie games developers, oxymoronic, as it can sound, can not really catch a break. I loved its Witcher RPG series, the Polish game Dev House has been less favorably associated as a giant editor, one that also has to possess the old ancient games or GOG. The disastrous release of Cyberpunk 2077 may have been a terrible experience for many players, but now even their own employees may be at risk after revealing that a massive violation of data earlier this year may have been worse than they thought for the first time.

The months prior to this attack of cybersecurity were very stressful for the company due to the very delayed but still terrible launch of Cyberpunk 2077. It is not so difficult to imagine that the attack may even have been caused by the quite intense feelings that were broadcast through Internet during those few months. Hackers may have been even disillusioned to the two players Cyberpunk 2077.

Hackers affirmed that, among other things, they could obtain company data related to accounting, human resources and investors and demanded that CD Projekt pay their rescue. The developer of the game was naturally denied to play that game and assured his clients that he is still safe. However, the same can not be said, of their own employees.

Four months after the incident, CD Projekt gives an update that is not pleasant to listen. Now believe that the stolen data may have included “current / previous details of employees and the contractor”, all of which can already be circulating on the dark web. Nor can they say with certainty that the data has not been manipulated or manipulated.

While she assures the audience that she has taken steps to make sure she does not happen again, those words may not have a lot of weight for those who are already affected. CD Projekt promises to protect the privacy of its employees and take measures against which they will share the stolen data. Given the position of the company in the public, those, they can also have a lot of weight as well.
